Yesterday I was in the mood to wear a little color. The sun was shining, it was warm outside and I felt like something bright. I decided to go with my new blue crinkle maxi skirt that I picked up at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this weekend. I paired it with a white tee and a white linen blazer. The skirt was so comfortable, and aside from rolling over it with my desk chair a few times, I loved wearing it. It has a nice stretchy knit foldover top so you can adjust how long it is. The knit lining was super soft, and the outer chiffon layer gave it a really nice look. Super happy I found this skirt.
Where to get the goods:
Max and Mia crinkled maxi skirt – $46.80 on sale at Nordstrom
Olivia Moon linen blazer – $52.93 on sale at Nordstrom
Another style I’m fond of for disguising my pear shape is a tunic top paired with skinny jeans. I got this one at Anthropologie and love the pattern and fabric. There clothing is somewhat on the pricier side, but I try to find thing I truly love there and therefore can justify the price. I once bought a pair of $80 lounge pants there which seems ridiculous, but they are my favorite pants in my closet. I paired them with a simple white tee and a layered necklace for a summer concert. I’m sure they’ll be one of my go-to items in hot weather.
