Yesterday morning I was eating breakfast and watching a few minutes of the Today show, when they showed a montage of Natalie Morales covering the Royal Baby saga.  In one of the clips she was wearing a lace skirt and white blouse and I really liked the look.

Realizing that I don’t have a lace skirt, I looked in my closet to see what I could come up with that used this outfit as inspiration.  I remembered a stretchy lace top I had purchased from H&M this spring, and a khaki paper bag waist skirt I had purchased several years back.  Voila!  I just threw on some high wedge sandals and the necklace I wore earlier this week and I was off.  (I probably could have used more jewelry)
