The August Golden Tote was a bit of a disappointment again.  I really need to rethink these subscription services…

Chosen Item #1 – Frequent Flier Dress

This isn’t my favorite item.  The dress is a bit shorter than I’d like, but the pattern does remind me of “Saved by the Bell” which is a positive in my book.

Chosen Item #2 – Paisley Perfection Maxi Skirt

I wore this to work this week and it’s surprisingly long! This is not usually a problem for my 5’6″ frame, I bet this is dragging for most women.

Surprise Item – Naked Zebra Keyhole Tank

I love the color of this, I’ll just need to find the right outfit for it.

Surprise Item #2 – Chris & Carol Floral Maxi Skirt

The pattern reminds me of something I would have worn in the 90’s.  Not in love with this item, but it might go cute with a chunky burgundy sweater in the fall.

Surprise Item #3 – Skies are Blue Marigold Print Dress

Shapeless and short, not for me.  Maybe for a model with stick legs, but not for me.

Surprise Item #4 – Renee C Floral Top

I could see myself wearing this with shorts and I like the pattern so this was okay.

Overall

I will probably only end up wearing 2-3 of these items so it doesn’t really seem worth the $149 for the tote this month.  I might skip this next month.
